This is a 100% whole grain malted rye, that went into a new American oak cask for two years before being re-racked into a first fill Bourbon barrel for the remainder of its maturation.
Aromas of vanilla creams, caramel, chalk dust, dried apricot, rye bread dough earthiness, fresh rain on dry ground; petrichor. Expect flavours of sweet, malty, toasted rye bread, earthy honey, red berry fruit notes. Hints of coffee linger in the finish.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a honey-gold glow.
Nose
Vanilla creams and caramel lift a chalk-dust sweetness, while dried apricot and rye bread dough lend earthy depth. Fresh rain on dry ground—petrichor—brings a mineral, evocative lift to the aroma.
Palate
Sweet and malty on the palate, with toasted rye bread and earthy honey driving a red-berry chorus. Vanilla and caramel provide a creamy warmth, while a coffee-like finish lingers, framed by subtle chalky earth and rye-dough notes.
Finish
Long, warming finish with toasted rye and earthy honey sweetness, a trace of red berry fruit and vanilla cream, then coffee notes lingering at the edge. Subtle spice fades to a dry, chalky echo, like rain on warm earth.
