Kyrö Distillery is a Finnish rye whisky and gin producer based in Isokyrö, in western Finland. Founded in 2012 by five friends after an idea developed in a sauna, Kyrö was built around Finland’s long connection with rye, using Finnish wholegrain rye across its spirits.

The distillery is housed in a former dairy that once produced Oltermanni cheese, giving Kyrö a distinctive home as well as a clear link to local production. Rye is central to everything Kyrö makes, from its malt rye whisky to its rye-based gin, with the grain bringing spice, texture and a naturally robust character.

Kyrö first gained wider attention through its gin, originally known as Napue, before releasing Kyrö Malt Rye Whisky as its own whisky stocks matured. The whisky range now includes Malt Rye, Oloroso, Wood Smoke and Peat Smoke expressions, showing a modern Finnish whisky style built around rye spice, oak, fruit, smoke and Nordic character.
