Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm, honeyed glow.

Fruity and complex, the nose offers orange chocolate, baked pastries and roasted malt—a warm, inviting sweetness with citrus zest and toasted grain.

Palate

Fruity and complex on the palate, it delivers orange chocolate, baked pastries and roasted malt with a velvety texture, a touch of sweetness from the marmalade cask, and a lingering cocoa-malt finish.

Finish

Long, luscious finish with orange chocolate lingering over roasted malt, and a hint of baked pastries. Fruity depth persists, giving a warm, malty afterglow that slowly fades.

Spirit of Yorkshire was founded in 2016 by farmer and brewer Tom Mellor and business partner David Thompson. Based in Hunmanby, near Filey on the Yorkshire coast, it grew from the Mellor family’s farming background and Wold Top Brewery, using home-grown barley and local water to create Yorkshire’s first single malt whisky.
