Bankhall Single Barrel Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky 3 Year Old
In stock
Bankhall is honoured and proud to finally have their first Single Malt Whisky!
This 3 year old English Single Malt Whisky was the first spirit to flow through their budding distillery back in April of 2020. They’re celebrating the momentous occasion with a Single Barrel release at Cask Strength - 57.4%
They have filled into a Char 4, New American Oak cask that creates an expression that’s bold from the punch of the barrel and balanced from their elegant triple pot distilled creamy new make.
Explore flavours of orange marmalade, vanilla bean, butterscotch, cinnamon, cacao nibs, marzipan and toasted oak.
225 bottles have been filled, and hand numbered by Head Distiller, Vince Oleson.
“We’ve impatiently waited these 3 years, and it was extra-excruciating for me as an American because in the US it’s WHISKEY the day it goes in the barrel!” – Vince Oleson.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished gold and a coppery halo, a warm, sun-kissed glow that hints at oak and caramel.
Nose
Vivid orange marmalade leads the bouquet, layered with vanilla bean and butterscotch sweetness. Cinnamon spice ripples through, while cacao nibs and marzipan add depth. Toasted oak from the charred New American Oak threads through, delivering a warm, creamy backbone that hints at the triple-distilled spirit beneath.
Palate
Bold and luxurious, the palate delivers orange marmalade, vanilla bean and butterscotch as a creamy core. Cinnamon spice weaves through cacao nibs and marzipan, all carried on toasted oak. At cask strength, it’s voluptuously full-bodied with a velvety, slightly oily mouthfeel and a warming, spice-driven finish that lingers with oak and cacao.
Finish
A long, warming finale of toasted oak and cinnamon spice, with orange marmalade hints mingling with vanilla bean and butterscotch. Cacao nibs and marzipan drift in softly, leaving a velvety sweetness that lingers with cask-strength warmth.
