Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden amber with sunlit honey tones and a warm coppery glow.

Nose

Kettle-corn with a bright orange glaze; popcorn sweetness lifts a zesty citrus gloss, inviting a warm, sunlit aroma.

Palate

Crème caramel coats the palate with creamy, dessert-like sweetness, a velvety mouthfeel that lingers.

Finish

A long, luxurious finish of vanilla custard that lingers, slowly giving way to charred oak. Creamy sweetness and a whisper of smoke persist on the palate.

Bankhall takes its name from the historic Bank Hall Distillery in Liverpool, which was established in 1790 and recorded by Alfred Barnard in The Whisky Distilleries of the United Kingdom in 1887. The modern Bankhall whisky brand is owned by Halewood Artisanal Spirits and revives that English whisky name for a new generation of British-made releases.
