The English Smokey is aged to perfection in specially selected casks. This peated (45ppm) Single Malt is an ideal alternative for the Islay fan; a gentle aroma with hints of vanilla, aniseed & ginger, a creamy palate, a little peat initially and then the smoke bomb! Finish is long, spicy and smokey.

An inviting, gentle nose of vanilla, aniseed and ginger, with a subtle whisper of peat that hints at the smoky depth to come.

Palate

A creamy palate opens with vanilla, aniseed and ginger, a subtle peat nuance that gently yields to a bold, smoky crescendo. Silky texture coats the mouth, with warming spice building into a long, spicy, smoky finish.

Finish

Long, spicy and smokey, the finish softly lingers with peppery warmth and a final wisp of peat that gradually fades, leaving a refined, smokey echo.
