Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden amber with sunlit honey tones and coppery highlights, a warm, inviting glow.

Nose

A complex nose of gentle vanilla and citrus, lifted by a subtle herbal note of mint and sage. Fruity richness comes through with baked apple, peach, mango, dried apricots and cherries, while almonds provide a soft nutty background. The oak arrives as clean pencil shavings, weaving through to a polished, inviting aroma.

Palate

Sweet and spicy, dry and woody with lovely oak overtones. Cherries and apples lead, with tropical fruits rounding out the fruit profile on the palate.

Finish

A peppery, spicy tingle lingers on the tongue, with a rich, oily mouthfeel and a subtly dry, lingering finish.
