To celebrate their 18th Anniversary, The English Distillery has released this rare and highly anticipated milestone addition to the Founder’s Private Cellar Collection. Aged exclusively in rum casks, the whisky was bottled at cask strength to maintain the robust flavour and character.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber-gold with coppery gloss and a hint of mahogany at the rim.

Nose

Tropical fruits and ripe banana rise with hints of citrus, mingling with soft caramel. Sweet vanilla ice cream, raisins and honey add creamy depth, finished by warm, fragrant spices.

Palate

Full-bodied and warming, the palate delivers cinnamon and clove at the fore, balanced by velvety vanilla, plump raisins, and boiled tropical sweets. A touch of dark chocolate and aniseed lends a cocoa-spice finish.

Finish

A sweet linger of tropical fruit and slight oak smoke.
