"We weren’t looking for just any barrels. We wanted the rarest and most extraordinary casks we could find - not only American bourbon barrels, but also exquisite sherry and red wine casks sourced directly from producers in France and Spain. The search became an adventure in itself.

My friends at Hawkridge and I were forced - if you can call it that - into a road trip across these storied wine and sherry regions, meeting the makers, learning their stories, and selecting only the most unique and sought-after casks.
