Bimber Ex-Bourbon Cask Batch No. 3 English Single Malt Whisky

Bimber Distillery was founded by Whisky lovers, with a mission to produce high-quality Single Malt Whisky with character, using traditional methods that are rarely seen today.

The journey begins at their single farm, where 100% of their own barley is grown. It is then traditionally floor malted, hand-mashed and fermented slowly for seven days in their signature wooden washbacks that were handmade at their own cooperage. Direct fire is used to heat the small copper pot stills, and the spirit matures in hand-selected casks. Finally, the Whisky is expertly blended and bottled onsite at the distillery. Bimber's hand-crafted approach to Whisky production passionately combines traditional methods, expertise and an absolute commitment to quality.

A vatting of carefully selected Ex-Bourbon Oak Casks. Bourbon barrels are constructed from Quercus Alba, or white oak, commonly known as American oak. This wood type complements the underlying character of an accessible fruit-forward spirit, imparting sweet, rich vanilla and caramel flavours alongside perfectly balanced spice. Every cask has been specially selected and married together in a hand-made oak vat, before being bottled.
