Created in partnership with Bimber Distillery, The Channel is the result of a 12 hours and 58 minute swim across the English channel, organised by New Zealand brothers, Alex and Nick Ravenhall. Known as the Whisky Smugglers, drams of Whisky were swam across the English Channel before being blended back into the cask for this limited edition bottling.

Colour
Golden-amber with honeyed copper highlights and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Sea spray and sun-warmed barley unfold into lemon zest, green apple and vanilla pod, framed by creamy toffee and gentle oak. A briny whisper of seaweed, white pepper and maritime salt lingers, evoking a Channel dawn and the bracing freshness of a long swim turned to spirit.
Palate
Powerful and buoyant, the palate delivers maritime brine with sun-warmed citrus, green apple and pear, and toasted barley sweetness. Vanilla and caramel cloak the mid-palate, while clove-spice and oak frame a long, saline, peppery finish.
Finish
Bright, coastal notes linger on the palate into a long, maritime finish. Sea-salt and mineral backbone give way to warm vanilla and caramel, framed by toasted oak and white pepper. A persistent citrus zest fades, leaving a clean, lingering warmth that echoes the Channel’s spirit.
