Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with a coppery glow and mahogany-tinged edges.
Nose
Bold peat smoke leads, braided with sea-salt and iodine—a briny breeze over ash and kelp. Dried raisins and fig mingle with red fruits from the sherry, tempered by leather, vanilla and subtle spice, yielding a polished, coastal warmth that lingers.
Palate
Oil-rich and mouth-coating, it opens with coastal peat and sea-salt, then unfolds into sherry-driven fruit—fig, raisin, and dark chocolate—interwoven with cocoa and espresso. Spicy oak adds warmth, a lift of citrus zest keeps it vibrant, and the finish lingers with medicinal smoke, iodine, and a final whisper of ash.
Finish
Long, smoky finish framed by coastal peat and gentle salt. Sherry-cask warmth threads through dark chocolate, fig, and leather, evolving as the smoke lingers and finally settles into warm oak and ember.
