Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden amber with a copper-tinged glow and sunlit honey radiance.
Nose
Intense peat smoke dominates, edged with iodine and sea spray. Bourbon vanilla and toffee warmth mingle with lemon zest and toasted almond, while a medicinal, marine thread lingers at the finish.
Palate
Bold peat dominates, delivering medicinal iodine, ash and sea-salt up front. Bourbon vanilla and toffee weave with citrus zest and spice, coating the palate in an oily richness. The finish is long and maritime—smoky, saline, peppery, with lingering warmth.
Finish
Long, warming finish of coastal peat and smoke, tempered by vanilla and toffee from the bourbon cask. A touch of sea salt, ash and pepper lingers, fading to a bright citrus note that keeps the peat glowing.
