Subtle wine-influenced sweetness hints at Bordeaux cask aging, adding a refined depth to the smoky, full-bodied Islay perfume.

Palate

Bold and full-bodied, this heavily peated Islay dram coats the palate with coastal smoke, charcoal and iodine. Rich fruit from the Pauillac casks—blackcurrant, plum and blackberry—seduces alongside vanilla and dark chocolate. Cedar-spice and toasty oak lend structure to a long, warming finish, lingering with saline, smoky echoes.

Finish

Long, smoky finish with dense peat and oak spice, where vanilla and dark fruit from the wine cask maturation linger, slowly fading into a maritime, resinous warmth.
