Port Charlotte That Boutique-y Whisky Company Batch #6 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 13 Year Old
In stock
The latest batch, #6, of Port Charlotte whisky (peated Bruichladdich) comes in at a 13 year old, a release of 1317 bottles. Always funky with the labelling, this one has the 5 molecules that produce phenolic compounds proudly displayed front and centre.
An earthy and slightly funky nose at first, savoury and grassy, before developing on the classic smokey notes and a slight sweeter hint. The palate is delicately fruity with honeydew melon, white grape and apricot. This is balanced by smoke, iodine, salinity, earthiness and oaky roundness.
The finish is long, drying, earthy and salty.
