This bottling from the Boutique y whisky co has had an interesting maturation, firstly through the more standard bourbon barrel but then matured in a combination of Pinot Noir wine cask and aged beer barrels!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with a warm, ruby-tinted glow.
Nose
Alpine freshness with vanilla cream and toasted oak forms the base, lifting bright red berries and cherry from the Pinot Noir influence. Subtle spice mingles with malt and caramel from the aged beer barrels, delivering biscuit, toffee and a gentle roasted edge. A refined, fruit-forward nose with warm, inviting depth.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied, the palate opens with red-berry lift from the Pinot Noir cask blending with malt and bourbon vanilla, caramel and oak spice. Subtle roasted-biscuit notes from beer barrels add depth and toast. The finish is long, peppery and warm, with wine-kissed fruit lingering and a soft sweetness.
Finish
Long, wine-kissed finish with red-berry sweetness from the Pinot Noir cask, paired with oak and malt from the bourbon and beer aging. A gentle spice lingers as the fruit fades, leaving a drying tannin and a subtle roasted note, finished with a warm Alpine glow.
