Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, deep amber with coppery mahogany hues.
Nose
Intense peat smoke mingles with briny sea air, iodine and ash, like a coastal bonfire. Sherry sweetness emerges with dried fig and raisin, mingling with dark chocolate and espresso. Leather and old oak lend velvet depth, echoing a maritime, lingering finish.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate of smoldering peat and sea salt, enriched by sherry fruit—fig, raisin, cocoa. Notes of treacle, orange zest, and leather mingle with gentle spice, while fine tannins frame a warm, lingering oak finish.
Finish
Long and maritime, the finish opens with bold peat smoke, iodine and sea-salt that cling to the tongue. Dried fruit and dark chocolate emerge from the Sherry influence, while peppery spice and leather deepen the contour, fading to a warm, resinous dryness that lingers with a whisper of coastal smoke.
