Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-mahogany hues and a sunlit ruby glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea spray rise first, laced with iodine and coastal mineral notes. Subtle sherry influence threads through dark fruit, fig and cocoa, while vanilla and almond lend warmth and elegance to a refined, maritime aroma.
Palate
Powerful peated and maritime on the palate, with smoky coal, briny sea-salt and a touch of iodine. Dark fruit compote—prune, fig, cherry—unfolds with cocoa, espresso and toasted almond. A satin mouthfeel carries a refined sweetness that thickens into spice and oak, yielding a long finish of smoke, saline mineral and leather.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of peat and sea spray, gradually giving way to sweet spice and dark chocolate. Iodine-laden smoke lingers with a salt-kissed edge, while fine oak and a gentle warmth persist on the palate.
