Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich burnished amber with coppery highlights and a waxy, honey-golden sheen.
Nose
Waxy, maritime nose with a restrained peat nuance and a gentle sherry lift. Dried fig, date and almond mingle with beeswax and vanilla, while cocoa nibs and spice hint at oak. The smoke is quiet, integrated and elegant, adding depth without overpowering the aromas.
Palate
Silky, waxy mouthfeel coats the palate with refined richness. Dried fig and raisin mingle with subtle Islay smoke that lingers, supported by nutty, treacly notes from refill sherry. At 54.6%, quiet power carries dark chocolate, orange zest, and a saline edge, finishing long, balanced, and impeccably integrated.
Finish
Long and waxy, with a refined whisper of smoke that lingers gracefully. Sherry influences emerge as dried fruit and cocoa, driving a balanced sweetness that slowly fades to a velvety, slightly saline finish.
