Colour

At cask strength, the aroma is richly concentrated, with a warm, waxy sweetness and a faint spice finish.

Palate

Silky, full-bodied and lusciously rich, this cask-strength malt coats the palate with dark fruit and spice. Plum, fig and raisin drift over toffee, burnt sugar and cocoa, while sherry influence adds cinnamon, clove and espresso notes. Oak provides structure with a touch of tobacco. The finish is long and warming, a refined panorama of fruit, spice and resinous oak.
