Colour
Deep coppery amber with mahogany depth and a sunlit reddish-gold glow.
Nose
Sherry-warmed aromas rise with dark raisin and fig, mingling with orange peel and cocoa. Beneath, vanilla, toffee and soft malt lend sweetness, while walnut, almond and baking spice add depth. A whisper of oak and tobacco finish the bouquet, elegant and inviting.
Palate
Glenury Royal offers a silky, sherried palate with dried fig, cherry and orange zest layered over toasted almond and toffee. Cocoa, vanilla and spice mingle with oak-driven sweetness, delivering a balanced, medium-bodied finish that remains warm, clean and elegantly poised at 40% ABV.
Finish
An elegant, lingering finish unfolds over warm oak, with dried fruit sweetness—fig and raisin—drifting into sherry-driven depth. Orange zest hints mingle with dark chocolate, while spice and a whisper of tobacco fade to a refined, nutty cocoa note that lingers gracefully.
