Cadenhead’s, formally known as William Cadenhead Ltd, is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842 in Aberdeen by George Duncan and later led by William Cadenhead. In 1972, ownership passed to J. & A. Mitchell & Co., the proprietors of Springbank and Glengyle distilleries, and the company relocated to Campbeltown.
