Carsebridge (silent) Cadenheads Single Cask Whisky 41 Year Old · 1976 Vintage
Out of stock
Distilled in 1976 and bottled in 2018 at 49.1% ABV, this 41-year-old Carsebridge single grain whisky was released by Cadenhead’s as a single cask bottling. Matured in a hogshead, the cask yielded 144 bottles.
Carsebridge was once one of Scotland’s most significant Lowland grain distilleries, founded in 1799 in Alloa. It later became a major component of the Distillers Company Limited (a predecessor to Diageo) and at one time was among the largest grain whisky producers in Scotland. The distillery ultimately closed in 1983 and was later demolished, making remaining casks increasingly rare today.
