Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany tinge.
Nose
Polished oak and vanilla lead the way, followed by silky toffee, honey and faint almond. Dried citrus peel and orchard fruit lend lift, while a whisper of spice and malt adds quiet gravitas—an elegant, decades-honed grain whisky aroma.
Palate
Silky, mouth-coating and refined. Creamy vanilla and honeyed toffee meet dried apricot and almond from sherry casks, with subtle orchard fruit nuance. A gentle spice (white pepper and ginger) draws through polished oak, finishing long with cocoa nib, fig, and a quiet, refined warmth.
Finish
An exceptionally long, refined finish that lingers with sherried sweetness and polished oak. Dried cherry and orange zest unfold into toffee and cocoa, lightly spiced, fading to a warm, lasting afterglow of age and grain elegance.
