Tasting Notes
Colour
Dense amber with rich mahogany undertones and coppery highlights, a warm, velvety glow.
Nose
Lochside's silent maturation reveals a nose of dark fruits and fig compote mingling with orange zest and burnt sugar. Rich sherry echoes through velvet vanilla and cocoa, while toasty oak, cedar, and spice create structure. A whisper of dried leather and a marine hint lingers, finishing with refined, aged elegance.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, this Lochside delivers sherried depth: fig and date, ripe plum, and orange zest mingle with dark chocolate and coffee. Rich oak, toasted almond, and spice weave through a velvety texture, finishing long, warm, and refined with a lingering leather and cacao glow.
Finish
Expansive and enduring, the finish releases sherried dark fruit, espresso and cocoa, orange peel and toasted oak, with a gentle spice. Velvet warmth lingers, finishing dry with a hint of leather and tobacco.
