Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent sherried nose with fig, plum and orange zest, braided with raisin and dark cherry. Sun-warmed oak, vanilla and almond mingle with cocoa nib and toffee, while cinnamon and clove add quiet spice. A refined rancio thread deepens the aroma, hinting at decades in cask and leaving a velvet, lingering sweetness.
Palate
Velvety and full-bodied, this Speyside showcases a tapestry of dark fruit—fig, raisin and cherry—woven with almond paste and cocoa. Sherry influence glows through dried fruit, orange zest, cinnamon and clove, resting on a silky oak spine. Rich yet refined, the mouthfeel is luxurious and creamy, delivering a long, warm finish with hints of toffee, leather and spice.
Finish
An opulent, long finish that lingers with melted dark chocolate and toffee, giving way to dried fig and orange zest. The sherry influence threads through with cedar and baking-spice warmth, slowly fading into cocoa dust and subtle leather.
