Bottled by Signatory Vintage for the Symington’s Choice range, this Benriach was distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2026 at 25 years old. Matured in a single Oloroso sherry cask and bottled at a natural strength of 60.2% ABV, it is a long-aged Speyside single malt with the cask firmly at the centre of the profile.
Benriach’s fruit-led spirit works particularly well with Oloroso maturation, and after 25 years in cask the result is a whisky with real depth and polish.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper highlights and a touch of mahogany at the rim, a warm, lacquered gold-amber glow.
Nose
Raisins, dried fig, orange peel, dark chocolate and polished oak, with hints of walnut and sweet spice.
Palate
Rich and mouth-coating, with notes of treacle, dried fruit, cocoa, roasted nuts and seasoned sherried oak.
Finish
A long, warming finish where spice and dark fruit linger, slowly softened by a drying, nutty richness and a final kiss of polished oak.
