Colour

Deep amber with coppery mahogany tones and a warm, gilded sheen.

Nose

Sweet Speyside smoke intertwines with fruity, malty notes, delivering an inviting, balanced aroma with hints of orchard fruit and a touch of sugary sweetness.

Palate

Baked fruit and honey lead the palate, balanced by toasted oak and spice. A subtle peated warmth threads through the sweetness, adding depth and a refined, lingering finish.

Finish

Long, rich and caramelised, the finish lingers with smoky sweetness, entwining toasted oak and a gentle spice for a warm, persistent postlude.

Benriach
(ben-REE-ach) Benriach was founded in 1898 by John Duff beside Longmorn, south of Elgin in Speyside. It opened during the late Victorian whisky boom but was forced to stop distilling in 1900 after the Pattison Crash, leaving the site silent for decades while its floor maltings continued to supply neighbouring Longmorn. Production finally resumed in 1965, bringing Benriach back after one of the longest silent periods in Speyside.
