Nose

Opulent Pedro Ximénez sherry on the nose; fig and raisin preserve swirl with dark caramel, treacle and molasses. Luxurious vanilla, toasted oak and a whisper of orange rind frame cocoa, espresso and a warming hint of cinnamon and clove. The bouquet is syrupy, dense and seductive, hinting at years in a single PX cask.

Palate

Silky, full-bodied and richly oaked, this 18-year Benriach pours PX into a velvet frame. Dark dried fruits—raisin, fig, prune—meet toffee, treacle and dark chocolate, buoyed by plush, syrupy sweetness. Cinnamon and clove spice drapes the palate, finishing long, warm and luxuriously raisiny.

Finish

Silky, long finish where Pedro Ximénez sweetness coats dark fruit—fig, raisin and plum—layered with toffee, cocoa and a hint of espresso. Spices and oak threads weave through the fade, leaving a warm, velvety bittersweet tail that lingers with refined intensity.
