Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery gloss and a mahogany core, glowing with sherry-tinted warmth.
Nose
Peat smoke threads through a richly sherried core of fig, raisin and orange peel. The aroma coats with dark chocolate, toffee and toasted almond, while leather and vanilla add warmth. A breath of espresso and charred wood deepens the finish, leaving a robust, elegant peat that lingers with refined spice.
Palate
Peat smoke intertwines with a deep sherry sweetness, delivering opulence on the palate. Dark fruit compote—fig, prune, raisin—meets espresso, cocoa and a touch of orange zest. Velvet oak, vanilla and spice carry the weight, while a lingering, refined smoke leads to a long caramel-tinged finish with hints of leather.
Finish
Long, smoky finish where peat lingers alongside rich sherry sweetness. Dried fruit and cocoa drift through the tail, with toasted oak and subtle spice giving a warm, velvety fade. Peat remains a soft ember to the last, leaving a refined, lingering warmth.
