Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery glints and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent dried-fruit bouquet: cherry, fig and raisin mingle with rich sherry, haloed by almond and dark chocolate. Spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—flutter softly, kissed by orange zest. Leather, tobacco and antique oak lend depth as the aroma lingers, revealing a quiet, dignified Highland maturation and a refined, timeless sweetness.
Palate
Silky, sherried on the palate, it delivers dark fruits—figs, dried cherries and prune—plus toasted almond, cocoa and caramel. Spices emerge gently, cinnamon and clove, supported by polished oak and a whisper of leather. The finish is long and refined, evolving from fruitcake sweetness to cocoa, tobacco and subtle spice.
Finish
Long, elegant finish lingers with dark fruit, cocoa and polished oak, veined with gentle spice. The warmth lasts as a silky fade, giving way to a refined sweetness and resinous oak that lingers softly.
