Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones, a warm, inviting glow.
Nose
A robust malt with salty meatiness forms the foundation, rising into black tea and fresh tobacco, with blood orange, sultanas and a whisper of barrel char.
Palate
Sweeter on the palate than the nose, with bold, tingling fresh tobacco, hints of butterscotch and cloves, and an oily, warming mouthfeel.
Finish
Long and dry, the finish lingers with warm spice—cloves and aniseed weaving with fennel, finishing in a delicate, meringue-kissed whisper.
