Nose

Vanilla-forward and creamy, this Macduff bursts with bourbon sweetness: toffee, warm oak, and a veil of orchard fruit—ripe pear and apple. Subtle coconut and citrus zest brighten the bouquet, while gentle baking spices lend warmth and a silky, honeyed depth. A polished, inviting Highlands nose hinting at depth on the palate.

Palate

Opulent, full-bodied palate with rich vanilla and toffee, cloaked in creamy oak. Juicy peach and pear mingle with warm spices—cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. A generous bourbon-barrel sweetness underpins the mid-palate, leading to a long, velvety finish with lingering oak and a touch of peppery heat from the high ABV.

(Mac-Duff) The Glen Deveron / MacDuff distillery was founded in 1962. However the first spirit actually flowed from their stills on 30 June 1960. One of the youngest distilleries in Scotland and seems to have changed its name more often than most other, much older distilleries. They kept changing the official name from Glen Deveron to MacDuff and back again.
