Only 375 bottles of this independent release from The Macduff distillery (or Glen Deveron as the single malt from this distillery is sometimes known) exist and aged in Ex-Bourbon casks and finished in sherry oak and released at 7 years old.
A very enjoyable and youthfull malt from a much lesser known distillery on the Banffshire coast in the North-east Highlands of Scotland.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Lively spice on the nose—clove, cinnamon and nutmeg—paired with sultana and warm bakery notes of hot cross buns and Madeira cake.
Palate
More spice following on from the nose with chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and poached pears.
Finish
Baked apples with runny honey, sultana, raisin, fizzy vanilla and those aromatic spices tingling to the end.
