Nose

Rich dark fruits rise in the aroma, with a subtle wisp of smoke and a faint sherry-cask edge that hints at sweetness and depth.

Palate

On the palate, a mild, approachable profile of honeyed sweetness, bright lemon, and gentle banana notes, all supported by a robust oak backbone.

Finish

Richer notes develop at the end with coffee, oats and sweet smoke alonsgide noticable sherry.

(TEA-an-in-ich) Teaninich was founded in 1817 by Captain Hugh Munro on his estate near Alness in the Highlands, making it one of the earlier legal distilleries of the Scotch whisky era. Ownership changed several times during the 19th and early 20th centuries before the distillery passed into DCL in 1933, placing it within the business that eventually became part of Diageo.
