Also a special limited release for this well respected coastal north highland distilleries 200th anniversary.
Aged for 17 years in refill American oak hosheads and Bourbon barrels from a 1999 distillation.
Bottled at natural cask strength of 55.9% ABV.
On the surface straightforward and zesty, it combines grassy and citrus notes to great effect, while below a rich and also light sweetness provides a welcome introduction to its true complexity.
Easily enjoyable as an aperitif or with oriental cuisines, this Teaninich also rewards more subtle exploration.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden straw with warm amber highlights, a sun-kissed, honeyed glow.
Nose
Elegant and floral at first, it leads to leafy, salted citrus, then exotic fruit—lychee, Galia melon and quince—earthy, waxy undertones, and a late whisper of almond milk, cinnamon and perfumed candles.
Palate
Waxy kumquat and quince lead the palate, tempered by earthy oats-and-honey sweetness. Leafy lemon balm mingles with salted almond, while green tea and a cookie-dough note lend a poised, textured finish.
Finish
Spicy wine gums mingle with peppery oak, finishing with earthy oatmeal and waxy orchard fruits.
