Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a wine-warmed mahogany edge.
Nose
Ripe apricot and peach mingle with orchard apples and citrus zest. Pineau des Charentes influence unveils grape-sweetness—raisin, fig and a touch of marzipan—woven with vanilla, toasted oak and spice. Warm, lush and inviting, with a dessert-like fruitiness that lingers on the nose.
Palate
Silky and vibrant on the palate, citrus zest and vanilla-draped malt give way to plush Pineau notes of apricot, fig and raisin. Toasted oak and gentle spice weave through, ending in a creamy, mouth-coating texture and a warm, cognac-like sweetness that lingers with an elegant, long finish.
Finish
Long and elegant, the finish carries a vinous orchard-fruit sweetness from the Pineau des Charentes cask. Vanilla and toasted oak mingle with spice, while citrus zest and almond linger, leaving a warm, refined glow that persists into a soft, sugary finale.
