Golden amber with warm honey hues and a sunlit glow.

Nose

Elegant and fruity, it opens with cooked apples and sweet spices, then vanilla sponge cake and sultanas drift in.

Palate

Creamy and textured on the palate, with layers of tinned apricots, crème anglaise, amaretto biscuits, and rice pudding, all bound with beeswax and cigar box spices.

Finish

Warm, sweet and comforting, with nutmeg butter pastry, heather honey and vanilla toffee lingering in a creamy, enduring finish.

Tomintoul
(TOM-in-tool) Tomintoul was founded in 1964 by the Glasgow whisky brokers Hay & MacLeod and W&S Strong, with production beginning in 1965 near the village of Tomintoul in Speyside. The distillery was part of the post-war expansion of Scotch whisky, built to meet growing demand for malt, and its site was chosen close to the Ballantruan Spring in the Cairngorms. Ownership later passed through Whyte & Mackay, before Angus Dundee Distillers bought Tomintoul in 2000.
