Colour

Deep golden amber with warm mahogany undertones and a coppery glow.

Nose

Dried fruit alongside fresh, jammy berries, honeyed toast and caramelised nuts create an inviting, warm nose with a touch of sherry-influenced sweetness and malt depth.

Palate

Creamy lemon curd with pear crumble, oak spice, sweet malt and sherry fruits form a velvety, malty palate with fruit-forward sweetness.

Finish

Toasty malt lingers with creamy milk chocolate praline, while sultana and raisin ribbons thread a luxuriously sweet, dessert-like finish.

Tomintoul
(TOM-in-tool) Tomintoul was founded in 1964 by the Glasgow whisky brokers Hay & MacLeod and W&S Strong, with production beginning in 1965 near the village of Tomintoul in Speyside. The distillery was part of the post-war expansion of Scotch whisky, built to meet growing demand for malt, and its site was chosen close to the Ballantruan Spring in the Cairngorms. Ownership later passed through Whyte & Mackay, before Angus Dundee Distillers bought Tomintoul in 2000.
