Tasting Notes

Colour

Pale golden with warm honey undertones and a sunlit, translucent brass glow.

Nose

Sweet citrus notes give way to honeydew melon and walnut, while fresh apple and crystallised violet mingle with a whisper of coconut.

Palate

Pineapple and mango complement vibrant honey. Seville orange leads to hazelnut and mature oak.

Finish

Full with lingering tropical fruit, a bright echo of pineapple and mango that lingers long on the palate.

Tomintoul
(TOM-in-tool) Tomintoul was founded in 1964 by the Glasgow whisky brokers Hay & MacLeod and W&S Strong, with production beginning in 1965 near the village of Tomintoul in Speyside. The distillery was part of the post-war expansion of Scotch whisky, built to meet growing demand for malt, and its site was chosen close to the Ballantruan Spring in the Cairngorms. Ownership later passed through Whyte & Mackay, before Angus Dundee Distillers bought Tomintoul in 2000.
