Tomintoul 14 Years Old Cognac Cask Finish was distilled in 2009 and matured initially in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in specially selected Cognac casks sourced by Master Distiller Robert Fleming from France.
The Cognac casks perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt imparting rich fruit flavours, which enhance the character and complexity of our whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with warm copper highlights and a honeyed, sunlit glow.
Nose
Sweet aromas of almond flan, baked apricots, vanilla and cedarwood mingle with dark chocolate and pink peppercorn.
Palate
Complex layers of ginger biscuits, sandalwood, muscovado sugar and white chocolate with hints of dark berry fruits, greengage and baking spices.
Finish
A warm, spicy fade of toasted oak, tapering into vanilla custard, milk chocolate and roast chestnut that lingers on the palate.
