Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery mahogany hues.
Nose
Opulent aroma of rich PX sherry fruit: raisin, fig and date, with plum and honey. Vanilla and caramel from the bourbon cask mingle with toasted almond and a subtle oak richness, yielding a warm, dessert-like nose that hints at the whisky’s exquisite sweetness and depth.
Palate
Luxuriously rich and velvety, it delivers dark fruits—raisin, fig and plum—alongside caramel, toffee and vanilla. Subtle spice and oak lift the sweetness, evolving into a long, silky finish with cocoa and toasted almond.
Finish
Velvety Pedro Ximénez sweetness lingers long, a lush finish that feels indulgent and refined. Ripe fig, raisin and date meld with caramel, almond and a kiss of cocoa, wrapped in warm oak spice. At 46% ABV it remains creamy and focused, fading to a polished dryness that leaves a lingering sherry warmth on the palate.
