Tomintoul 14 Years Old Pedro Ximénez Sherry Quarter Cask Finish was distilled in 2009 and matured initially in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in specially selected Pedro Ximénez Sherry quarter casks sourced by Master Distiller Robert Fleming from Spain. The Pedro Ximénez casks perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt imparting rich fruit flavours, which enhance the character and complexity of this whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery mahogany tones and a subtle ruby sheen.
Nose
Deep and rich with aromas of chocolate fudge cake, maple syrup, dried fruits and cedarwood.
Palate
Indulgent layers of maple pecan pie, chocolate ganache, raisins and roast nuts mingled with coffee grounds, tobacco and baking spices.
Finish
Long and warming, the finish drapes the palate in tiramisu, dark chocolate and Brazil nuts, with a cocoa-kissed warmth that lingers and softly fades.
