Colour

Golden amber with honey-gold radiance, a sun-kissed depth and a subtle burnished copper glow.

Nose

Exudes maturity with orange blossom honey, sun-kissed summer fruits, and fresh hay, all delicately threaded with a nuanced nougat sweetness. A refined, inviting nose that promises depth and quiet luxury.

Palate

Subtle balance of malty sweetness and spicy oak, with mature fruit cake flavours emerging and hints of cigar box. Light on the palate yet intriguingly complex.

Finish

A drying, unhurried finish that slowly climbs in spice, leaving a lingering peppery warmth and subtle oak on the palate long after the sip.

Tomintoul
(TOM-in-tool) Tomintoul was founded in 1964 by the Glasgow whisky brokers Hay & MacLeod and W&S Strong, with production beginning in 1965 near the village of Tomintoul in Speyside. The distillery was part of the post-war expansion of Scotch whisky, built to meet growing demand for malt, and its site was chosen close to the Ballantruan Spring in the Cairngorms. Ownership later passed through Whyte & Mackay, before Angus Dundee Distillers bought Tomintoul in 2000.
