Tomintoul Robert Flemming 30th Anniversary 2nd Edition Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 30 Year Old
In stock
This 30 Year Old Tomintoul Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the 2nd Edition bottling specially selected by Robert Fleming to commemorate his 30th year as custodian of Tomintoul Distillery.
A unique and full-bodied single malt, it has a depth and richness of flavour that has developed over 30 years of maturation in the fresh, pure air of the Cairngorm Mountains.
This specially selected single malt spent its first 29 years maturing in American Bourbon casks before being finished in an antique Pedro Ximénez Sherry butt, which was hand-selected by Robert Fleming in Jerez, Spain, for its final year. The cask yielded exactly 700 bottles at 51.1% alc/vol.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany tint, a luxurious, wine-dark glow.
Nose
Opulent and refined, the nose opens with dried fig and raisin, layered over caramel-vanilla from decades in American bourbon casks. A final, velvety kiss of antique Pedro Ximénez sherry yields dark chocolate, orange zest, cacao nib, and toasted almond, with a gentle touch of oak and fresh mountain air.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this 30-year Tomintoul pours a warm, creamy vanilla and toffee core from the bourbon casks, then unveils Pedro Ximénez sweetness—raisins, fig and date—layered with dark chocolate, cocoa and gentle spice. Velvet-textured, with seamlessly integrated oak, and a long, syrupy finish of dried fruit and warmth.
Finish
Opulent and enduring, the finish drapes the palate in PX sherry sweetness—raisin, fig and prune—paired with dark chocolate, caramel and toasted almond. Gentle spices echo, framed by polished oak, and a warm 51.1% ABV lingers in a long, velvet finale.
