Sweet butterscotch dominates the nose, unfolding with hints of almonds and hazelnuts, and a praline-rich sweetness that speaks of sherry-cask maturity.

Upfront Sherry greets the palate, delivering glace cherry and ripe stone fruit notes, balanced by a supple, warming sweetness that lingers.

Finish

A warming sherry finish that lingers confidently, with soft vanilla and a flirt of spice caressing the palate long after the last sip.

Tomintoul
(TOM-in-tool) Tomintoul was founded in 1964 by the Glasgow whisky brokers Hay & MacLeod and W&S Strong, with production beginning in 1965 near the village of Tomintoul in Speyside. The distillery was part of the post-war expansion of Scotch whisky, built to meet growing demand for malt, and its site was chosen close to the Ballantruan Spring in the Cairngorms. Ownership later passed through Whyte & Mackay, before Angus Dundee Distillers bought Tomintoul in 2000.
