In stock
Tomintoul takes its name from the highest village nearby the distillery. It's a 1960s distillery whose name has started to be pronounced not long ago with Angus Dundee Distillers releases. Amontillado is a variety of sherry wine characterised by being darker than fino but lighter than oloroso. The nature Amontillado, product of two styles of maturation, first under flor, followed by an oxidative maturation means you will need at least +/- 10 years of ageing before you have Amontillado cask for ageing whisky.
