Master Distiller Robert Fleming created this small batch bottling by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which are then married & finished in hand selected Pedro Ximénez sherry butts from Andalucía, Spain.
The process of ‘finishing’ creates a beautifully rich, complex & full flavoured single malt scotch whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany undertones, a warm, glistening bronze that hints at rich Pedro Ximénez sherry influence.
Nose
Aromas of sweet treacle and dried figs mingle with malt loaf, raisins and warming baking spices.
Palate
On the palate, layers of fruit cake and banana bread unfold, revealing marzipan-stuffed dates, toasted walnuts and sultanas, with delicate clove and cinnamon spice.
Finish
Cosy notes of Danish pastries, cocoa powder and syrup sponge cake, fading into a warming oak and tobacco linger.
