A new release from Tomintoul. Tomintoul Seiridh (pronounced “sheh-ree” being the Scottish Gaelic for Sherry). This perfectly balanced single malt has been matured in American Oak Bourbon casks from Kentucky, USA before being finished in specially selected first fill Oloroso Sherry butts from Andalucia, Spain. This process of finishing has created a beautifully rich and full flavoured single malt. Batch One of this limited-edition has a total of 6,000 bottles available, which are all individually numbered.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery hues and a warm, sunlit depth.
Nose
Rich and inviting, this nose unfolds with sultana sweetness, butterscotch, and candied pecans, a warm, indulgent prelude to the whisky’s depth.
Palate
Sweet and luscious on the palate, with layers of dried figs and Christmas cake, subtly brightened by touches of cedar spice.
Finish
Warm, nutty and long, the finish lingers with chocolate-covered raisins and dried fruits, a touch of liquorice, and a subtle woody echo.
