Colour
Rich tawny amber with coppery mahogany depths and a warm, ruby-hinted glow.
Nose
Redcurrants, blackberries and red cola rise on the nose, edged by a damp, musty undertone that lends inviting depth to this dram.
Palate
Sweet, fruity notes of red fruits with honey glaze and brandy baskets, nicely balanced by smoky undertones of barbecued meats.
Finish
Peat builds through the long finish, delivering a salty, nutty echo that lingers with tangs of rhubarb custard and roasted almonds.
